W is for Winter!

We have had a different winter here in Utah this year, haven't we!?  Even though we haven't had as much snow as usual, we were able to learn about the letter "Ww" as we talked all about winter and snow!

Here we are making snow paintings...

We mixed together equal parts of shaving cream and glue to make a great snow paint!

We did lots of things with water...

This was so fun!

We filled a ziplock baggie with hair gel and food coloring, and were able to use it to write letters in it!

One of the books we read this week was "Whistle for Willie."

And we got some snow that week!  Yay!  So we had to bring some inside to play with it!

Another fun activity we've done with the chalkboard is to write out the letters and "paint" them off with water, as we talk about what each letter is called and what they sound like. :)
